Anyone can create a market on Predictifi — the contract is permissionless and we cannot approve markets in advance. These are the markets we will stop showing on this site.
We can stop showing a market. We cannot remove it.
Anyone can create a market — the contract is permissionless and there is no approval step. Enforcement happens on this website only.
Your position is never locked.
If you already hold a blocked market you keep a working page, and selling, redeeming and claiming stay switched on in every state.
01 · The rules
These are the rules a market is judged against. They are the same list an operator picks a reason from when they act on a market, so what is enforced and what is published here cannot diverge.
Any market touching sexual content or activity involving anyone under 18 is removed from the site and reported to the relevant authorities.
Nothing that encourages, rewards, or sets a payout on violence, self-harm, or harm to a person or group — including assassination-style markets.
Public figures may be the subject of markets about their public conduct. Private people may not, and neither may anyone's private life, body, health or death.
No market whose subject or payout would be unlawful, and none that functions as a wager on someone committing a crime.
There has to be a public, verifiable fact that settles it. If nothing can honestly resolve the question, it should not be traded.
Repeats of an existing market, nonsense, and advertising get removed from the feed so real markets stay findable.
A market can also be acted on for reasons a rule list cannot anticipate. Where that happens, the reason is recorded alongside the decision.
02 · What happens
Both states remove a market from browse, search and feeds, and switch new buys off. They differ only in whether someone who does not hold the market can still open its page. Neither one ever switches off selling, redeeming or claiming.
The market disappears from browse, search and feeds, but its page still opens for anyone holding it so they can sell or redeem — new buys are switched off.
The market disappears from browse, search and feeds and its page returns Not Found for everyone except holders, who keep a working page so they can sell or redeem.
03 · Enforcement
Enforcement is a display filter on this website, not an on-chain action. Predictifi's contracts are permissionless and immutable: a blocked market still exists on Base Sepolia and can still be traded by calling the contract directly. We can stop listing it here; we cannot delete it, freeze it, or take anyone's shares.
04 · If this affects you
If you already hold a position in a blocked market you keep full access to sell, redeem and claim it — that never gets switched off. If you think a market was blocked in error, contact us from the help page.
A delisted market you hold still appears in your portfolio with a working exit. If a link you followed no longer opens, the market has been delisted under one of the rules above — not deleted, and not taken from anyone who holds it.
