Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you") and Predictifi ("Predictifi", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Predictifi prediction market protocol and its web interface (collectively, the "Service").
By connecting a wallet, accessing the Service, or taking any position, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By using the Service you represent that:
- You meet the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction;
- You are not located in, or accessing the Service from, any jurisdiction where prediction markets are prohibited;
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law.
Wallet & non-custodial access
The Service is non-custodial. You connect a self-custodied wallet and sign a one-time message to prove ownership; your wallet address is your identifier. We never take custody of your funds or private keys. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your wallet and keys;
- All activity that occurs under your wallet;
- Any network (gas) costs associated with on-chain transactions.
Positions & on-chain settlement
Positions are denominated in USDC and settle on-chain via audited smart contracts. Prices are determined by an on-chain logarithmic market scoring rule (LMSR) and move only as participants trade. Outcomes are uncertain; the Service does not guarantee any return, and participation involves the risk of losing your funds.
Trading & fees
By trading, you acknowledge:
- LMSR pricing. Prices fluctuate in real time as positions are taken. The displayed price is an estimate; execution occurs at the on-chain quote at confirmation.
- Trading fee. A total 2% fee applies to each trade, split into a 0.5% creator fee and a 1.5% liquidity / recipient fee. See the Compliance page for the full schedule.
- Finality. Confirmed on-chain transactions cannot be reversed.
Leverage
Eligible markets support leveraged positions (2× / 3× open to all; 5× and 10× unlock with traded volume) within a fixed margin band of $50–$2,000. Leveraged positions can be liquidated if price moves against them past the liquidation threshold, resulting in loss of the posted margin. The liquidation price is shown before you open a position.
Market creation
By creating a market, you represent that:
- The market has clear, objective, verifiable resolution criteria;
- The close date and resolution timeline are reasonable and accurate;
- The market does not promote unlawful activity.
Market creators earn the 0.5% creator fee on trades in their markets.
Resolution
Markets resolve through optimistic resolution: an outcome is proposed with a USDC bond and finalizes after a dispute window unless challenged. Disputes are escalated to the resolver owner. Markets that cannot be resolved unambiguously may be voided and all positions refunded.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Manipulate market prices through coordinated activity or wash trading;
- Exploit bugs or unintended behavior for unfair advantage;
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Predictifi disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of funds arising from smart-contract behavior, network conditions, or your own wallet management.
Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes are reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
